The Fall

We slept with the windows open last night and it was a wee bit chilly! Yeah! I sure love this little blue planet we live on. It is pretty amazing how life is supported here on such a delicate balance, as if some genius architect or Intelligent Designer planned it all out for us. Nifty.

I'm going to bake pumpkin squares today.

Ha Ha Ha! I used to get a little mad when people would laugh at people from Phoenix who said it was "chilly" there. But now I understand. Ha Ha Ha! I am laughing at you, but not too much because we woke up to 31 degree weather. Gross! I know! I laugh because I am jealous. You should probably be laughing at me. In the words of Jeff, "why do people want to live somewhere that is so cold?" To him I say "I don't know Jeff, I really don't know."

I LOVE this time of year! It is such a relief to walk out of the house in the morning and NOT have your hair catch on fire because it is 100 degrees at 8:00 in the morning... :) Now I can plant my winter flowers! The only thing missing from this wonderful season is getting to watch one of "the brothers" play football under the Apollo HS stadium lights on a beautiful Friday night...

Fall is my favorite season too! Enjoy the next 8 months of beautiful Phoenix weather!

I made chocolate chip pumpkin muffins (actually that should be reversed) yesterday and we snarfed them. And I decorated the house for fall. Ahhhh! Even without changing leaves, it's wonderful to see people's moods just lifting as the temperature cools.
