Last week we went up near Strawberry for a hike. It was like heaven. It was 70 degrees out, a little cloudy, it even rained on us for about three minutes while we were eating lunch. We just sat in it. There were butterflies fluttering all over the woods, the woods were green and fresh. It was peaceful and quiet, until the kids got involved of course, but even they were unable to completely disturb the calm of the woods. I just kept looking around and giggling about how nice it was and how happy I was that we came.
Peter and I entertained everyone with this demonstration.

He couldn't figure out how to drink out of the Camelback so I just spit water in his mouth. He will totally love that story in 10 years.
We are so going camping next weekend.

One of the many amazing things a mother is willing to do for her child. :)

That picture is awesome-mother's are so dang smart & creative:)
Some of the unsung heroes are those who take a week of their family vacation time and spend it at scoutcamp! The wives of those men are pretty amazing as well and not many think to thank for that sacrifice! You guys did that even before you had a son going to camp!
Like your writing Alli - even the long ones!
