Halloween

We had a fun evening at the Ward Trunk or Treat. We had a hobo, a hippie, a witch, a princess, and a zebra/elephant (he switched before we went to the party).

Oliver was Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon, Amanda made his costume and she made a dragon costume for their dog, Nabey. They were adorable, she is so talented. Our little beasts were pretty cute too for very little effort or planning.

Since Tessa wanted to be a witch and Alana wanted to be a princess I decided that Tessa was Elphaba and Alana was Galinda and even if nobody knew that they were I knew they were and that was nice for me.

Here is the little elephant who would not wear his trunk. He won a cupcake in the cupcake walk and he was thrilled about it. He has been absolutely obsessed with the candy and treats. He reacts badly to not being able to have as much candy as he wants. I've told the rest of the kids that they are not allowed to eat their candy in front of him or leave it out where he can find it. This next week is going to be so much fun.

Ryan shaved his head to be Mr. Clean at work then decided to be Dax (a friend and member of the bishopric) for our ward party. Dax had an accident on his dirt bike and tore up his knee about a year ago and was on crutches for a long time so Ryan tore up his pants and bloodied up his knee and went about on crutches. Everyone at the party got it, it was pretty funny.

Good times.

Sorry kids, Ryans costume is the best in my opinion.

Nu, nu is so talented but I'm in your camp. They were changing their minds as we were dressing for the parties so I try not to get too involved with the costuming. I like elephant/zebras:)
