Ryan ran through the town of Holbrook and on back country roads to Winslow. It was nice to be away from I 40 and the noise and traffic. The dirt road was well maintained and my parents met up with us along the way. We had Gwen with us who stayed since she was game to do day 4’s activity and Dinah was not interested.
Ryan ran and we found cool rocks and had fun visiting. It was still a bit windy and clouds were being ominous but it was not stormy where we were. Just a bit windy. Ryan did great! We ended the day just outside of Winslow and said goodbye to my parents who went back home to Taylor.
We drove to Flagstaff in hard rain the whole time just about and got to town in time to meet up with a bunch of family and get settled into the hotel to rest up for the big adventure of day 4.
