We drove out to Winslow and stood on the corner and off he went to get to where he left off on the day before. It was a fine day, the weather was lovely and sunny with light clouds here and there. Nice and cool. He wasn’t moving as fast as he wanted to. He still felt a bit sore, I’m not sure why though, weird.
He ended up at Twin Arrows and we drove into Flagstaff and I dropped him off at the train station and away he went. I went to charge the truck and as I got out it was so cold and windy I was sure he was suffering but he was pretty happy when I picked him up an hour later at the edge of Flagstaff.
One interesting thing from today. I stopped at Apache Death Cave for one of the aid stops and I was investigating the ruins and a couple drove up in their car and she asked where in Canada I was from (I was wearing a Canada shirt) I told her my husband was from Canada and he grew up in Nova Scotia and guess where she was from? Also Nova Scotia! She grew up in the same town they lived in and didn’t know them but isn’t that crazy?! I think so too.
